The Vipers – Take Me

The Vipers - Take Me

In 1981 The Vipers released “Take Me” on the Room to Move E.P. This was a collaboration with the fledgling Energy Music record label, Mulligan Records, and Terri Hooley’s Good Vibrations.

The Room to Move 33 RPM single featured tracks from:
  • The Outcasts: Cyborg
  • Shock Treatment: Belfast Telegraph
  • The Vipers: Take Me
  • Big Self: Snakes and Ladders

Some Room To Move Fun Facts

The Room to Move E.P. was the first single on Energy Music (NRG1). A little-known fact is that The Blades’ first two singles were also released on Energy.

  • “Hot For You” (NRG3)
  • “Ghost of a Chance” (NRG5)

Bernie Smirnoff joined the Vipers in 1979. Take Me is the only available recording with Bernie behind the drum kit.

A doodle of Bernie I found after rehearsals one night.
