In 1981 The Vipers released “Take Me” on the Room to Move E.P. This was a collaboration with the fledgling Energy Music record label, Mulligan Records, and Terri Hooley’s Good Vibrations.

The Room to Move E.P. was the first single on Energy Music (NRG1). A little-known fact is that The Blades’ first two singles were also released on Energy.

Bernie Smirnoff joined the Vipers in 1979. Take Me is the only available recording with Bernie behind the drum kit.
